Group Therapy

Get the benefit of therapy in a safe, supportive and confidential group setting. Adolescent and Young Adult DBT groups available now!

Nourish Your Mind aims to provide group therapy to the community and is currently offering the groups listed below. We are constantly growing and developing new programs, so check back to see if new group offerings meet your needs.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy Groups:

Learn coping skills in the areas of mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness to help you thrive and improve daily functioning. DBT skills can be extremely beneficial for anxiety, depression, eating disorders, PTSD and more!

Young Adult DBT Skills Group

(Led by Kara Bucci, LCSW)

Each Monday from 5:45pm-6:45pm

Ages 18-25. Registration required. Call for more info.

 

Teen Girls DBT Skills Group – Warwick

(Led by Gabrielle Fassman, LMSW)

Each Wednesday from 8:00pm-9:00pm

Ages 15-17. Registration required. Call for more info.

 

Teen Girls DBT Skills Group – Monroe

(Led by Kara Bucci, LCSW)

Each Monday from 7:00pm – 8:00pm

Ages 13-15. Registration required. Call for more info.

 

Healing Mind & Body: An Eating Disorder Recovery Group

(Led By Kristen LoBianco, LMSW, RYT-200)

Each Thursday from 6:30pm-7:30pm

Females Ages 15-18. A psychotherapy group to support and encourage individuals in their eating disorder recovery. This group is for those in active recovery with the intention to heal. Together, we will learn and experience healing elements of connection, art, breath and movement to help guide you on your recovery journey and connect you with your body in compassionate ways. No yoga experience needed. An open mind and heart encouraged.

 

New Mother’s Support Group

Mondays from 1-2pm in Warwick. Led by fellow Mother & Psychotherapist, Lauren Mariotti, LCSW

Motherhood can be one of the most exciting and yet one of the most challenging periods in our lives. Cultivate the very best you when connecting with other new moms in a warm and welcoming setting.

We will be offering emotional support, companionship and information to support you in the life changing transition of becoming a parent. Tools will be offered to assist with managing this significant transformation and its associated physical and emotional symptoms. There will be an emphasis on community building to create lasting support systems.

The group is for mothers of 0-9 month old infants and will run for 10 weeks.
