Embodied Yoga Class – 6 Week Series

Thursdays from 9:45am-10:45am

Starting March 31st

Ages 18 & Up

in our NEW Monroe, NY Yoga Space

This 6-week embodied yoga series invites you to reconnect with your mind and body, in a safe and non-judgmental space . At times we can feel disembodied for reasons such as anxiety, disordered eating, negative body image and trauma.  An embodied yoga practice uses healing elements of breath, movement and meditation and will give you the opportunity to cultivate a deeper sense of presence, learn to self-regulate emotional and physical sensations and experience your body internally, mindfully and with compassion.  

When embodied, we are living in and from our body and experiencing our body as a home and a resource.

This yoga series will be taught from a HAES approach, trauma-informed and mental health perspective.

*All are welcome and class is accessible for all bodies.*

*No yoga experience needed.*

*An open heart and mind encouraged.*

Props & mats are available, but you are welcome to bring your own if you have.
