Our ๐—–๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ ๐—–๐—ผ๐—ฝ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—™๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐—ž๐—ถ๐—ฑ๐˜€ group is starting again on February 6th. The group provides a safe and non-threatening space for children to release and express feelings they may not know how to let go of:
๐Ÿ’š daily stressors
๐Ÿ’š school stress
๐Ÿ’š anxiety/worry

The focus is on problem-solving skills, social skills, and art therapy skills/ techniques through the use of creative arts therapy. Children are offered guidance in the use of creative arts to express themselves while learning how to use different art materials.

Here are my seven simple steps to observing your mind:
๐Ÿค” Close Your Eyes: remove external distractions to be truly aware of what is happening inside. ย 
๐Ÿค” Take Five Deep Breaths: breathing allows you to become grounded and gain clarity.
๐Ÿค” Notice Your Thoughts: consider what thoughts come in and what thoughts go out.
๐Ÿค” Observe Brain Chatter: notice your thoughts' frequency, rhythm, and pattern.
๐Ÿค” Let Go of Self-Identification: imagine your thoughts as leaves falling onto a moving river. 
๐Ÿค” Take Five More Deep Breaths: it wonโ€™t hurt.
๐Ÿค” Notice That You Are Still Not Your Thoughts!
