Meet Gabby in her own words…

What is the most important thing you have learned in the last five years?

The most important thing I have learned in the last five years is that it’s always okay to change your mind, or direction. Learning to set boundaries is an act of self love, even it risks alienating or disappointing friends or loved ones.

What is your favorite part about working for Nourish Your Mind?

I love the collaborative aspect of our practice because by working together, we enrich our client’s experience. We put the needs of our clients first, and as a team we are able to best support our them as they grow, evolve, and change.

What do you like most about your job at Nourish?

I am most grateful for my clients. It is truly an honor to be their witness, and walk alongside them on their journey towards self actualization. It is the highest honor.

What are your hopes for the future of the Mental Health Industry?

I hope for all individuals needing support be able to access quality, inclusive, services regardless of their age or financial situation.

How would you describe your style as a Therapist?

I would describe my style as bespoke; eclectic; it truly depends on the needs of my client. While my background is in feminist principles, I strive to empower each client to embrace and celebrate who they are.

What might someone be surprised to know about you?

When I was 16, I I spent my summer teaching English to children, farming, and rebuilding homes, with First Nation Blackfeet Americans in Montana.  I was even invited to dance in their pow-wow ceremony!

What would you tell someone who is thinking about seeking counseling services for the first time?

There’s no time like the present to start prioritizing yourself.

What do you do when you aren’t working?

I enjoy reading and hiking and playing with my dog, Beaux!

Gabby works in our Warwick and Monroe locations. While she currently has a small waitlist for new clients, she welcomes you to join her for be YOU
